such as:
Glasgow Cathedral - a masterpiece of Scottish Gothic architecture.

University of Glasgow - one of the UK's oldest and most prestigious institutions.
Additional iconic landmarks showcasing Glasgow's cultural and architectural charm.
Dinner & Overnight Stay
In the evening, savour a delicious Indian dinner, followed by check-in at the hotel for a
relaxing overnight stay.
After breakfast, channel your inner Highlander as we embark on a scenic journey north to
the banks of Loch Lomond and beyond.
Nevis Range & Cable Car Ride
We continue along the picturesque route towards Fort William to visit the Nevis Range. Upon
arrival, enjoy a cable car ride to the summit, rising 1,345 meters above sea level, offering
breathtaking views of Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the British Isles. This ancient giant
was once a massive active volcano, which erupted and collapsed millions of years ago-truly
the pinnacle of Scotland!
Commando Memorial
Next, we make a photo stop at the Commando Memorial, a Category A listed structure
standing 17 ft (5.2 m) high. This striking bronze sculpture depicts three World War II
commandos in full uniform, including cap comforters, ammunition pouches, and weapons.
The monument honors the officers and men of the commandos who gave their lives between
1939-1945.
Glenfinnan Viaduct & Memorial
Later, we head to the Glenfinnan Visitor Centre for a photo stop at the famous Glenfinnan
Viaduct and Glenfinnan Monument. The viaduct, built between 1897-1901, is part of the
West Highland Line in Inverness-shire and overlooks Loch Shiel. It has appeared in several
films, most famously in four of the Harry Potter movies. The Glenfinnan Monument, erected
in 1815, commemorates the Jacobite clansmen who fought for Prince Charles Edward
Stuart. Standing 18 meters high, it features a lone kilted highlander at the top, a poignant
tribute to the fallen clansmen.
Neptune's Staircase
Our final stop of the day is Neptune's Staircase, a remarkable staircase lock on the
Caledonian Canal. Originally hand-powered, it now operates hydraulically, comprising eight
locks that raise and lower boats along this historic waterway.
Dinner & Return to Glasgow
End the day with a delicious dinner at one of our selected restaurants before returning to
your hotel in Glasgow for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we begin our journey toward Scotland's historic capital, Edinburgh. Upon
arrival we begin an orientation tour featuring key highlights such as: Princes Street -
Edinburgh's famous shopping and cultural boulevard Palace of Holyrood house - the King's
official residence in Scotland
Additional notable landmarks showcasing the city's rich heritage
Edinburgh Castle
Next, we visit the iconic Edinburgh Castle, dramatically perched atop an ancient volcanic
rock. Dominating the city skyline for centuries, the castle invites you to explore its grand
state apartments and view the ancient Scottish Crown Jewels.
We then make our way back to London. On the way we visit romantic and historic village of
Gretna Green.
Famous Blacksmiths Shop
At Gretna Green's Famous Blacksmiths Shop, discover over 260 years of tradition, where
generations of eloping couples pledged their vows over the Blacksmith's anvil. Today, the
site is a charming visitor attraction featuring heritage exhibits, boutique shopping, and
inviting restaurants-although you may want to resist the temptation to tie the knot yourself!
Malt Whisky Tasting Experience
Immerse yourself in Scotland's whisky heritage with a guided tasting. Learn how Scotch
whisky is crafted, uncover the characteristics of its distinct regions, and enjoy sampling two
malt whiskies and a Scottish liqueur.
Return to London
